ICC Cricket World Cup 2011: Top 3 Umpires To Look Out For

The ICC World Cup 2011 will have 12 umpires from the ICC Elite Panel, along with 6 six referees from other countries play different test.

The list of elite group is composed by Daryl Harper, Rod Tucker, Täuffelen Simon and Steve Davis of Australia, Ian Gould of England, Billy Bowden and Tony Hill of New Zealand, Aleem Dar and Asad Rauf of Pakistan, South Africa Marais Erasmus, Asoka de Silva Sri Lanka, and Billy Doctrove of the West Indies.

The other six referees that you get to advertise their products during the World Cup are Australia's Bruce Oxenford, Richard and Nigel Llong Caldera Municipality of England, and Tarapore Amiesh Shaver Saheb of India, and Kumar Dharmasena of Sri Lanka.

Selecting the top 3 arbitrators from the list of 18 was not an easy task, but after much deliberation, which have focused on:

1. Simon Tauffel

Born in Australia Simon Tauffel, 39, won the best prize of the ICC referee for five years on the trot between 2004 and 2008.

Taufel who played club cricket as a player fairly fast, Cammeray ultimate representation of DC, in 1990-91, began to arbitration in first-class cricket, 1995. His first international match as a referee was in 1999 when Australia hosted Sri Lanka in Sydney.

From June 2010, Täuffel had officiated in 61 tests, 152 ODIs (becoming the youngest referee to log in 100 ODIs, in the process) and 22 international T20. Tauffel has become known for its high level of accuracy in an era dominated by cricket electronic aids, including references (UDR).

2. Aleem Dar

Despite a brush with controversy early in his international career, Aleem Dar is here to be the first to break referee Täuffelen maintained in the ICC award Best umpire Pakistan 41 years cattle born in 2009. In fact, some people feel it is better than Täuffelen.

Dar played first class cricket played in Pakistan between 1986 and 1998, the last representing Pakistan Railways. By the way, Bowden had the record for the youngest umpire to officiate 100 ODI for a brief to Täuffelen broke the record. Bowden is extremely popular among folowers the game, at least not signaling his comic style.
