ICC Cricket World Cup 2011: Australia likely team

Australia should be among the favorites for the ICC World Cup 2011. His ODI record in 2010 speaks for itself, in 21 matches they have won 15, losing only five, while a match ended without result.

Compare this with the record of India in 2010, India has played 21 matches and won 12 while losing 9. Importantly, it lost the Asia Cup, involving four teams, in January, and was better than last year shot, and in his last match, the actual final three in the series in Sri Lanka, chasing lost 300 to win.

A nitpicker might point out that rivals Australia ODI during the year are not India and it is unclear how well the Australians would be against India in India. Rewind back to Australia last ODI series in India, the two sides were engaged in a series coincide with the October 7, 2009, and the series was 4-2 in favor of Australia.

Even taking into account the fact that this is not the strongest team in Australia has seen, the competitive spirit of the Kangaroos' refuse to die. Consider India's many failures in the past 20 years and over in tournaments involving four or more teams, and you get a better perspective.

That said, the current Indian side is stronger than we've seen in a long time, and they believe in what could probably be the last World Cup Sachin Tendulkar.

Likely to come at eleven of Australia for the World Cup, consider the eleven who did duty in the last match in Australia against England in the Lord. Australia won that match, but lost the series 3-2.

The Lords had to match the following eleven: Watson, Paine, Ponting, White Marsh, Hussey, Smith, hopes, Harris, Bollinger and Tait.

Interestingly, this does not include eleven Clarke, the captain of the Australian team for the current ODI series in India.

The fourteen players nominated for the ongoing ODI series against India include many of these players, are missing Watson, Ponting, Harris, Tait and Johnson.

My likely Australia 14 for the ODI World Cup was co-hosted by India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are: Watson, Paine, Ponting, Hussey, Clarke, Marsh, White, Harris, Bollinger, Hauritz, Johnson, Tait, hopes , Smith.

I made a general assumption that these players are match fit and available. This team has world's fastest player in Tait, a developer of talent left arm new ball to Johnson, an accurate seamer Bollinger, an orthodox off Hauritz roulette, and a left arm spin googly player in Smith. The team owes its balance to over-versatile, and Watson, Clarke, White, Smith, Johnson, and hopes.

Moreover, Australians have a responsibility for execution of hunger in Paine, an opening batsman in mature Watson has learned how to build an innings, while an aggressive run-scorer, a solid medium order and a captain who has won two Cups World at his watch, a record he shares with Clive Lloyd.

Have you noticed that I have not chosen a second goalkeeper. There is always a case of a full-time employee Brad Healy, Healy, but no team can reach the strength of his batting alone, and he can not play. So his selection would harm the Australians in their area of strength, all rounders.

So what if the Aussies are injured Paine? There are plenty of others, including the captain Ponting, who can fill in. The fact that all Australians are good gardeners do not hurt the team.
